Alan Eppes, father of Agent Don Eppes and Professor Charles Eppes, lives in Los Angeles. His wife, Margaret Mann-Eppes died of cancer almost two years ago. Recently, Alan began a relationship with Mildred "Millie" Finch, chair of the CalSci Phsyics, Mathematics, and Astronomy Division, therefore making her Charlie's boss. This created a bump for Alan and Charlie, but now Charlie has come to appreciate Millie for who she is.
Alan enjoys baseball, golf, and doing puzzles. He also likes conversing with Amita and Larry, and they are often a big help to him as he tried to understand something more about his genius son.
