David Krumholtz

David Krumholtz
David Krumholtz was born on May 15, 1978 in Queens, New York. His mother, Judy, was a dental assistant, and his father, Michael, was a postal worker. He had an older sister named Dawn who was born in 1972. He also grew up Jewish.
His career began when he followed his friends to an open audition for Conversations with My Father, a Broadway play that starred Numb3rs costar Judd Hirsch and Jason Biggs. That run was followed by two feature films: Life with Mikey, co-starring Michael J. Fox and a role that earned him a Young Artist Award nomination, and Addams Family Values. However, he may be best known in the film world (in the eyes of children, anyway) for his role as Bernard, the head elf in the first two Santa Clause movies. Due to contractral disputes, he could not partcipate in the third.
David was a part of many short-lived series over the years, ones that involved such co-stars as Tom Selleck, Henry Winkler, Jon Cryer, and Rob Lowe. He finally hit television success with Numb3rs. In 2007, he was awarded an Honorary Associates of Arts Degree in Mathematics from Lake Tahoe Community College.
David's most recent film projects include roles in both Harold & Kumar movies, the comedy hits Superbad and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, and a rumored role in Quentin Tarantino's new project.
As for his his personal life, David is currently engaged to Vanessa Britting. He proposed in Paris, France on a vacation. They plan to wed in 2009. He lives in Los Angeles, as of 2006.

David's doing an awesome job in portraiting Charlie.
I think he has the most difficult job of all of the cast as he has to learn his lines AND the Math formulars he's writing.
I'd say he is very down-to-earth as he actually answered to a thread in another forum on his 30. birthday - I couldn't believe it...
